Samir Waris DMD, MD

Dr. Samir Waris is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who is fellowship trained and Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction of the Head and Neck. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. He went on to complete Dental School at Temple University in Philadelphia. Following this he attended the Mayo Clinic school graduate medical education where obtained his Medical Degree and completed his residency training in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery. He then decided to pursue fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Henry Ford-Saint John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Waris’s broad training has allowed him the opportunity to develop an interest in the management of complex benign and malignant pathology of the head and neck. Additional interests include surgical management of traumatic facial injuries, developmental and acquired maxillofacial deformities, and comprehensive craniomaxillofacial reconstruction.

He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
