As the area’s only public health system, Valleywise Health offers a network of Community Health Centers in neighborhoods across the Phoenix metro area with primary care services. We’re always looking for ways to help our neighbors; because we’re stronger when we work together. Let’s work together, side-by-side, to raise awareness about health, housing, economic development and public safety issues to help keep people out of emergency rooms.
Our leadership team, staff members, volunteers and patients continuously and actively participate in the process of improving our health care system and the quality of care we provide. At Valleywise Health, it’s everyone’s responsibility to help create a culture of safety and quality, no matter who you are or what position you are in.
The Maricopa County Special Health Care District Board of Directors is the governing body for Maricopa Special Health Care District and Valleywise Health. Each member represents one of the five districts in Maricopa County.
The Valleywise Community Health Centers Governing Council maintains oversight of our Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) as well as clinics located at our main campus at 24th Street and Roosevelt.
Valleywise Health has partnered with the DAISY Foundation to help recognize our excellent nurses. The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses recognizes the special work nurses do for our patients every day.
Extending our mission beyond the walls of Valleywise Health allows us to make health care more accessible to everyone. By forming joint ventures and partnerships with our neighbors, we are able to connect more deeply with our community and meet their expanded health care needs.
