Lawrence is a Licensed Master Level Social Worker and an Arizona State Certified Peer Support Specialist at Valleywise Health. He has over 25 years of experience in psychiatric rehabilitation, behavioral health and human services, with a strong background in community mental health, individual, group, and family counseling, substance use disorder recovery, and advocacy. He operates within a strengths-based frame of reference coupled with a person-centered engagement style. For the past several years he has worked at Valleywise Community Health Center – Mesa as an integrated behavioral health specialist, where he works collaboratively with the primary care medical team providing behavioral health services.
