Dr. Sherry Stotler - SVP & Chief Nursing Officer, Patient Care Services

Since April 2008, Sherry Stotler, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been the Chief Nursing Officer and Sr. Vice President of Patient Services for Valleywise Health in Phoenix, Arizona.

In her role as Chief Nursing Officer and Sr. Vice President of Patient Services at Valleywise Health, Ms. Stotler is responsible for the implementation of key systems and procedures to ensure effective use of resources and the delivery of quality healthcare. She has specific expertise in change management, revenue enhancement, process development, quality management and performance improvement.

Ms. Stotler’s leadership responsibilities include Acute and Emergency Services, Acute Behavioral Health, Outpatient Nursing and Specialty Services, Perioperative Services, Quality and Patient Safety, Environment of Care/Disaster Management, Family Resource Centers, Medical Library, and Employee Health and Wellness.

Prior to her role at Valleywise Health, Ms. Stotler was VP for Clinical Services for a local specialty hospital in Scottsdale. In addition, Ms. Stotler worked many years for the Maricopa County Department of Public Health.

Ms. Stotler is involved in numerous committees working toward the advancement of the nursing profession.
