In addition to the years of service that Valleywise Health and DMG have collectively offered to the Maricopa community, in 2017, DMG continued to strengthen its partnership with Valleywise Health by playing an essential role in Care Reimagined. As part of their role, DMG has been involved in the planning and building process to deliver excellent patient care in the state-of-the-art facilities envisioned in our community’s new safety net healthcare system.
In 2017, DMG also partnered last year with Valleywise Health, Creighton University School of Medicine, and Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center to create a new alliance aimed at increasing the number of doctors and other health professionals in Arizona. The Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance, which was officially launched on September 1, is designed to improve and expand current health education programs offered by each of the entities. The alliance will also develop new academic and clinical education programs in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health.
