Alexzandra Hollingworth, MD, FACS

Dr. Alexzandra Hollingworth is a trauma surgeon at Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix. With her extensive experience and dedication, she has held various leadership positions, including Vice Chair of Surgery and Vice Chief of Staff. As the Geriatric Surgery Director, one of her primary goals is to establish geriatric surgery verification at Valleywise. Dr. Hollingworth also serves as Core Faculty for the General Surgery program and Quality Improvement Officer for the Creighton University Health Education Alliance. Dr Hollingworth is the Co-course Director of the Health System Science course for medical students at Creighton University School of Medicine. Originally from New York City, Dr. Hollingworth completed her Surgery residency at Carilion Clinic Virginia Tech and Trauma/Critical Care Fellowship at the University of California San Francisco-Fresno. Outside of surgery, she enjoys staying active with fitness, sports, and Krav Maga alongside her husband and son.
