Nyima Ali, MD

Dr. Nyima Ali earned a medical degree with honors in Research at the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her OBGYN residency at Pennsylvania Hospital.  She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She is on the faculty at University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix and is a Clinical Instructor at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine.

Dr. Ali, a District Medical Group (DMG) Physician, is available for consultations at Valleywise Health.  Her interests include obesity medicine, lactation consulting, pregnancy, labor/delivery, infertility, postpartum care, contraception, management of abnormal pap screening, well woman care, medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding, and cultural competency.

Dr. Ali is bilingual in Spanish and English and has personal research interests focusing on identifying, understanding and improving health disparities in minority populations within the U.S.
