Dr. Sydney Vail, MD, FACS, FABC, is a District Medical Group physician and the Chairman for the Department of Surgery at Valleywise Health Medical Center and an Associate Professor at the Creighton University School of Medicine as well as the University of Arizona Medical School – Phoenix Campus. He is an active clinical surgeon and educator and provides outreach education and presentations across the United States with a focus on wound ballistics, tactical medicine, disaster preparedness and medical/surgical ethics.
