Carolina Mendez, MSN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, RNFA, CCRN, CFRN, CNRN

Carolina Mendez received a Bachelor of Science of nursing degree from Arizona State University. She then went on to University of Phoenix to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner, followed by a post-master’s certification in Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University. Carolina has a rich background in both acute hospital and flight nursing care. She is fluent in Spanish and a certified Spanish interpreter. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She began working as a Nurse Practitioner at Valleywise Health Medical Center in 2023 as a part of the Trauma Surgery service . Her career is dedicated to managing complex cases, specializing in traumatic injuries and surgical patients while managing chronic medical conditions across various hospital units and in the clinic setting. She also works closely with and mentors students in seeking a career in medicine.
