• Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
• Post-maters certificates in Trauma Counseling from Chestnut Hill College
• Certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

Holds an appointment as an Assistant Professor at Creighton University School of Medicine,

•   Provides clinical supervision in CBT for Creighton’s PGY-3 psychiatry residents

In addition to working with burn and wound patients in the Arizona Burn Center, Dr. Spencer has served as an expert witness in guardianship hearings and has conducted psychological evaluations for individuals hospitalized for court ordered evaluations and treatment at Valleywise. Dr. Spencer has also worked in private practice, hospitals, skilled nursing/rehabilitation centers, fire/EMS departments, prisons, and older adult protective services.
