Leading the Way in Trauma Prevention

Valleywise Health is committed to not just treating trauma, but preventing it. Through initiatives like our Fall Prevention program, we offer assessments and interventions aimed at reducing the risk of falls, particularly among the elderly, by educating on safety measures and environmental modifications to prevent injuries. The STOP THE BLEED course empowers individuals with the knowledge and skills to act quickly in emergency situations to control bleeding, a critical step in saving lives before professional medical help arrives. This program is designed for everyone, from community members to medical professionals, highlighting simple yet effective techniques such as the proper application of tourniquets and pressure dressings.

Beyond Treatment: Joining the Journey to Recovery

At Valleywise Health, we understand that recovery extends far beyond the initial treatment. Through our partnership with the Trauma Survivors Network, we offer a supportive community designed to aid in the long-term recovery process.
