Valleywise Health joined with Creighton University in 2019 as one of the founding partners of the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance.
We’re just as passionate as you are about learning and growing as healthcare professionals, and invite you to to consider the opportunities for Medical Students at Valleywise Health.
We train over 800 medical students every year. During your rotations, active participation all education and clinical activities will enhance your clinical decision-making skills and offer you the ability to work closely with residents, attending physicians, residency program directors and other allied health professionals. We have over 240 full-time physician faculty and more than 300 residents involved in our 10 accredited Residency Programs, all of whom are eager to connect with you, learn alongside you and help you grow.

Valleywise uses Clinician Nexus, to manage our Medical and Advanced Practice clinical experiences. This platform improves communication between clinical sites, schools, and students. Your use of the platform will be free to schedule rotations with us. Once you have been accepted for rotation, you will be required to complete all onboarding 90 days in advance of the rotation month.
We offer fourth‐year electives and make every effort to meet your educational needs. Our fourth‐year electives are open to students from across the country and schools in the Caribbean that have meet current LCME requirements or equivalent.

As a student, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in up to four rotations during the academic year.
An affiliation agreement must be in place prior to a rotation. Please check with your school to see if there is an existing agreement in place. If there is no agreement, please provide the Valleywise Health team with the information for the individual at your school who handles these agreements.
There is a limited availability for NP (Nurse Practitioner) and PA (Physician’s Assistant) student rotations in some of our programs. Please contact the program directly to inquire about rotations.
