Access healthcare wherever you are. Virtual appointments connect you to great care, without leaving your home.

It’s now easier than ever to connect with the Valleywise Health and District Medical Group Providers you know and trust with virtual Telehealth appointments. All you’ll need for your appointment is a phone or computer. Many times, your doctor will still be able to make treatment recommendations, offer potential diagnoses and even prescribe medication over your call.

Anything you say or send over your telehealth appointment will be completely confidential and secure. If you have any questions about telehealth and how to prepare for your appointment, visit our blog or call us at 1-833-VLLYWSE.

Here are some common questions you may have when preparing for your Telehealth appointment:

Can I make a telehealth appointment if I’m a new patient?

Yes! Both new and current patients are welcome to book a telehealth appointment at Valleywise Health.

What equipment do I need to take my call?

All you need is a phone or computer with an internet connection.

Which doctors/departments are available by telehealth?

While many of our doctors are available by telehealth, we recommend calling us first at 833-VLLYWSE (833-855-9973) to confirm that your doctor offers this service. However, most of our locations and specialty services offer some degree of telehealth services, including our HIV/AIDS clinic.

Can I get a diagnosis from my doctor over a virtual call?

Many times, yes. Our Valleywise Health doctors are equipped to perform general examinations over video calls and can make treatment suggestions based on your conversation. In some cases, you may need to book an in-person appointment for follow-up, but that will be determined by your doctor.

Is this secure?

Your safety is our top priority, and everything you virtually share with your doctor will be kept confidential in compliance to HIPAA rules and regulations.
