Adult Involuntary Treatment

When you or a loved one are asked to undergo psychiatric evaluation or treatment because of a court order, it’s natural to feel confused, nervous and overwhelmed. But there’s no need to panic when you’re in our care. Our specialists are here to make this process as comfortable and smooth as possible.

We also make it easy for you to take care of your legal proceedings by offering transportation to and from your court hearing in our Mesa facility’s specially-designed mental health courtroom.

Geriatric/Medical Psychiatric Inpatient

Patients come to our facility with a variety of different backgrounds and needs. No matter what type of special care you may require, we have a team ready to help. In addition to our staff members who are dedicated to helping court-ordered patients, we also offer special services for our elderly patients and patients who require other types of physical health care during their stay.

Appointment Checklist

In order to make sure your experience is as smooth as possible, we suggest arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your first appointment and 15 minutes ahead of time for all following appointments. Remember to bring the following items with you:

  • Your current insurance or AHCCCS card.
  • Your insurance co-pay, deductible or payment in full if you are not covered by insurance. We will collect your payment at check in.
  • A valid photo ID. This can be a driver’s license, passport, military ID, employment badge or student ID.
  • If you need to reschedule your appointment, no problem – please just make sure you call us and let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time.

You should always feel confident that you’re receiving the best health care at the lowest cost. Valleywise Health offers financial services to help you better plan for future health care needs. An Eligibility Specialist is available throughout the week to answer any questions you might have about your options.
